Overview:This time, we take a look at the Sakurajima Ferry in Kagoshima. The ferry runs 24 hours a day between Kagoshima City and Sakurajima, which is still very active. The 15-minute one-way trip is crowded with commuters from Sakurajima in the morning and with people on their way home from work in the evening. More than 10,000 people a day use the service, which supports the daily lives of the islanders as a means of transportation for daily life and in emergencies.
