Overview:In 1923, Governor Miklós Horthy went to the cinema out of patriotic duty and watched a film. Pál Fejős, the director, was no longer there for the screening, he was filming in America. Therefore, he did not experience the fall of his film, The Stars of Eger. The film was not a success, and no copies of it survived.
