Overview:On Japan's Amami-oshima island, 29-year-old Hitoshi Ijuin runs a small lunch box shop. Many of his customers are elderly and live alone. The village has no supermarket or convenience store, making it hard for older people to have proper meals. Every day, Hitoshi and his mother prepare home-cooked lunches, adjust them to individual needs, and then he delivers them to customers' doors. For Hitoshi, supporting local seniors with nourishing, heartfelt meals is a way to give back to the community.
