Overview:PIK pays a nocturnal obeisance to LUI when she meets BLIND MONK. The teachings of the monk linger in her mind during the entire night. The following day, PIK decides to pay the monk a visit at Qingxin Temple, where she chances on FUNG who is offering prayers for LUI. SANG tells FUNG that his eyes are poisoned by venom which only WAI can offer a cure. FUNG decides to return to the capital to look for WAI, SHAN and others. FUNG vows before a mournful PIK that he will avenge LUI’s death by killing SHING and that he will never part with her. HO and YIU take temporary shelter at the Shuiyue Nunnery. YIU advises TING to abandon her scheme in lending SHING’s influence in order to get back at PIK, but TING refuses. YING arrives at LUI’s place and harasses TING. LUI keeps a cautious eye on the man. SANG meets SHAN and learns that HO is dying from an arrow wound. WAI’s resuscitation proves futile……
